Description
As a Drainage Worker, you will be part of a team responsible for installing and maintaining drainage systems for agricultural land, construction projects and infrastructure works. Every day you will work at different project locations, supporting experienced colleagues with a variety of outdoor tasks.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Assisting with the installation of drainage systems
• Digging and preparing trenches for drainage pipes
• Installing and connecting drainage pipes and fittings
• Supporting excavation and groundwork activities
• Operating hand tools and small construction equipment
• Assisting machine operators when required
• Measuring, preparing and finishing drainage installations
• Keeping the worksite clean, organized and safe
• Following health and safety procedures on site
The work is physically demanding and takes place outdoors in different weather conditions. No previous experience is required, as full training is provided by the company.
