We are excited for you to embark on a new adventure, and we are here to guide you every step of the way to ensure you have a smooth transition, especially when moving to a new country, which can be a bit challenging.

At Talent Hunters, we want to make sure your journey is as smooth and successful as possible. To that end, we have prepared a step-by-step guide to help you prepare for your new life in the Netherlands.

From job confirmation to your arrival, accommodation, and first day at work, we will accompany you every step of the way.

Let’s get started!

Step 1: Job Confirmation

Once we confirm that you have got the job, we will call you to discuss a suitable date for your arrival in the Netherlands and assign you a coordinator, providing you with the contact number and address.

Step 2: Booking your Travel

You will need to arrange your travel to the Netherlands, whether by plane, bus, or train, depending on your location. Remember that we do not schedule pickups during the weekend, and pickups will be in Eindhoven.
Once you have your ticket, remember to send a copy to your coordinator. If your coordinator does not have your ticket, your vacancy will be given to another potential candidate.

Step 3: Preparations for your Arrival

Before your arrival, make sure you have all the necessary documents valid and your personal belongings. Remember that we do not provide bedding such as pillows, sheets, and blankets; you can bring your own or buy them once you arrive at a local store. Also, if your job requires specific equipment, such as safety shoes, you can purchase them at the agency office or bring them with you.

Don’t worry if you arrive late at night; we can arrange for the bedding to be ready in your new room. We will communicate the final details to the company you will work for, including your arrival time and start date.
At this point, your coordinator will guide you for the driver to pick you up or, in case of flight issues, update your coordinator; he is your best friend here!

Step 4: Arrival in the Netherlands

Once you land in the Netherlands, the agency you will work with will be there to pick you up at Eindhoven airport. Once you arrive, they will take you to their office for registration, contract, and orientation. Your coordinator will assist you throughout your transition and provide all the information you need before starting your new job and after your placement.

We are here to help, so don’t hesitate to ask questions or raise concerns with your coordinator; many issues can be easily resolved.

Step 5: Accommodation

Your employer will take care of accommodation and transportation so you can settle in and start enjoying your stay since the first day of arrival.

Step 6: Starting to Work

Don’t worry about transportation to work on your first day; your coordinator will inform you about the shift and ensure your transportation. Depending on the job and its location, you may be provided with a car, a bicycle, or an agency driver.

While work is paramount, both we and your agency want you to feel at home. After a few weeks of adjustment, you will make new friends and become familiar with your surroundings.

We will keep in touch to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Changes are part of the experience, and not everything can go as planned, but with effort and dedication, things will work out. Just remember to be patient, and both we and your agency are here to support you throughout your journey.
